Your Access to and Control Over your Advertisement
You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address given for advertisement on that Product/Service website:
– Change/correct any data in regard to your Advertisement.
– Have us delete any data in regard to your Advertisement.
– Express any concern you have about the data in regard to your Advertisement.
Data regarding your Advertisement is retained until requested to be deleted by you, unless otherwise noted.
When placing an order for an Advertisement, we will request information from you directly related to processing your request.We request information from you on our order form. To buy from us, you must provide contact information (like name and email address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we’ll use this information to contact you. As of this writing, PayPal is used for order processing.
All advertisements are manually reviewed. If the advertisement is approved, a request for payment will be sent and, upon payment, the advertisement will be added to the requested rechor Product/Service. No payment will be made prior to completion of the review process.
rechor reserves the right to change prices at any time without notice. Any advertisement already running and bound by this agreement will not be impacted by price changes (e.g., an advertisement that is already paid for will not be billed again with the price change).
As a general rule, refunds are not permitted. For any issues on our part (such as server downtime), you will be credited extra time for your advertisement to run. Contact us with any questions regarding this. An exception to this would be an unforeseen ad removal [see Ad Removal].
Right to Refuse
rechor reserves the right to refuse any advertisement if it is deemed inappropriate for a specific Product/Service. See the specific Product/Service’s advertisement page for more information regarding these standards.
rechor reserves the right to refuse business and, depending on the circumstance, bring legal action against those who engage in deceptive practices. Deceptive practices include, but are not limited to, changing landing pages for advertised URLs to an unapproved page or content. This applies to those advertisements that require manual review before publication.
Removal of advertisements after publishing is unlikely due to the manual review process, but if such a case occurs then notification will be made and an explanation will be provided. A prorated refund or time credit will be issued.
rechor does not receive data from third parties about customers.
rechor does not collect data about users after a user clicks on an advertisement presented by rechor (such as a Listing on TownSpout). The only information collected is for updating the “click count” for that particular advertisement. This does not apply to any advertisement that appears on a rechor product that is not from rechor (such as a Google ad). For that information, please contact the advertising supplier directly. Contact us if you need clarification on who is presenting an advertisement.
Advertisements may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that rechor is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.
You may opt-out of rechor contacting you at any time by emailing email@example.com. This does not opt you out of receiving important information about the Product/Service you are licensed or subscribe to.
From time-to-time rechor may request information via surveys about advertising. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you may choose whether or not to participate and therefore disclose this information. Information requested may include demographic information. Survey information will be used for purposes
of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of advertisements.
